The Holy Land is in the heart of the Middle East. Always a meeting place of many people, the landscape of the Holy Land is one of the most magical and interesting in the world, full of contrasts from the harsh rocky arid mountains, the lush green oases, the fields and plantations, the great blue lake and even to the desert.
In this emotionally charged setting, religion plays an important part, being the crossroads of the World’s religions; Christianity, Judaism and Islam.
Pilgrims from every corner of the earth are invited to meditate on messages of Peace, Faith, Hope and Goodwill that emanate from this strip of land.
In offering Pilgrimages to the Holy Land it is our intention to support the Christians in Palestine, Jordan, Israel and Egypt. To that end we are using when and wherever possible Hotels, Hostels and Guest Houses which are owned by Christians. In Jerusalem there are a number of Hotels/Guest Houses, notably the Notre Dame Centre, Knights Palace, Casa Nova and Gloria. In Bethlehem we are pleased to offer the Rosary Sisters Guest House, Shepherds Hotel and in Galilee the Beatitudes Centre.
The world is now aware of the enormous wall disecting the mini towns and villages in Palestine. However access to Bethlehem for Pilgrims from abroad is not a problem as is transiting other recognised crossings in the wall.
