Summer Pilgrimages to Krakow & Czestochowa

4 Nights Programme
Whilst in Kraków you will visit the ancient Royal City, St. Mary’s Basilica and the Convent at Lagiewniki where Jesus gave St. Faustina the Chaplet Prayer of the Divine Mercy. Her tomb also lies here. In addition to a day trip to Czestochowa where you will visit the shrine of Jasna Gora containing the icon of the Blessed Virgin Mary, also known as the Black Madonna, you will also visit Wadowice, the birthplace of His Holiness John Paul II. Included is an opportunity to explore the Salt Mines at Wieliczka, a UNESCO world heritage site, and a visit to Auschwitz.
7 Nights Programme
On arrival in Kraków you will be met by our local guide and continue your journey by coach to Czestochowa for two nights half board accommodation. The two hour journey is through some of Poland’s most beautiful countryside. During your stay in Czestochowa you will visit the shrine of Jasna Gora containing the icon of the Blessed Virgin Mary, known as the Black Madonna, dating back to Our Lady’s time. According to tradition it was painted by St. Luke on a tablet made by
St. Joseph and taken to Poland in 1382. From Czestochowa you make your way to Auschwitz for a guided tour of this historical camp. You continue your journey to Kraków for five nights half board accommodation visiting the shrines and many sites of historic interest as listed in the 4 night programme above.
These tours are suitable at any time for groups of 20 or more.
