Lisieux is the home of St. Therese of the little flower. She was born on 2 February 1873 in Alencon for Lisieux. Therese lived in Lisieux for 10 years before entering the Carmel in 1888 at the age of fifteen.

Departing from Westminster Cathedral at approximately 8am and travel by luxury air-conditioned coach to Dover for the short sea crossing to Calais. Continue to Lisieux for four nights full board at the l’Ermitage Convent.

There will be a spiritual programme based on the teachings of St.Therese and her Little Way of Spiritual Childhood. During your stay in Lisieux you will visit Alencon: St. Theresa's birthplace, Les Buissonets: Theresa's family home in Lisieux, Lisieux cemetery: where Theresa was first buried and the Carmel: where her remains were transferred in 1923.
